Description

A 20 cm cube holds about 8 litres – enough for a shrimp colony, a betta with a sponge filter, or a single-stone Iwagumi study. Small tanks are less forgiving than large ones because parameters swing faster, so pair this with light stocking and weekly water changes.

Suggested setup

• Sponge filter or small internal filter rated 200 l/h maximum, or the flow will blow the scape apart.
• Clip-on nano LED – see our Nano Clip Light 12W.
• Heater is optional in Chennai; if used, choose 25 W or less.
• Stock lightly: shrimp, a betta, or a small group of nano fish such as ember tetras.
