Description

Most cheap flake food is padded with wheat and terrestrial protein that tropical fish digest poorly – which is why it produces so much waste. This formula leads with whole fish meal and krill, giving 45% crude protein, plus garlic extract which measurably improves acceptance in fussy or newly imported fish.

Flakes are cut thin so they soften quickly at the surface and are taken by mid-water fish before they sink.

Feeding guide

• Feed twice daily, only what the fish clear in two minutes.
• Overfeeding is the leading cause of ammonia spikes in new tanks. When in doubt, feed less.
• Crush flakes between your fingers for small-mouthed fish such as neon tetras.
• Use within three months of opening. Vitamins degrade once air gets in.
