Description

Liquid fertiliser feeds plants through their leaves. Rosette plants – amazon swords, cryptocorynes, vallisneria – feed mainly through their roots, and in inert gravel or sand they slowly starve no matter how much liquid you dose. Root tabs solve that directly.

Each capsule releases nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and iron into the substrate over roughly three months.

Usage

• Push one tab 3 – 4 cm into the substrate, 5 cm from the plant crown.
• One tab per large rosette plant, or one every 15 cm across a planted area.
• Replace every three months.
• Not needed in fresh aquasoil for the first year.

Note

Push the tab fully into the substrate. A tab left exposed dissolves into the water column and can trigger an algae bloom.
