Description

A fine-pore disc produces far smaller bubbles than a standard airstone, which means more gas exchange per litre of air and a much better looking bubble curtain. Mounts flat on the base or on the glass with the supplied suction cups.

Note that a strong air pump is needed to drive a fine-pore diffuser – a weak pump will barely produce bubbles through it.

Usage notes

• Needs an air pump rated at least 2 l/min. Our Silent Air Pump drives it comfortably.
• Soak a new disc in water for an hour before first use for an even bubble pattern.
• Clean by soaking in a dilute vinegar solution when the pores clog with limescale.
