Description

A halfmoon betta is judged on the caudal fin opening to a clean 180-degree semicircle with straight leading edges. These are hand-selected show-grade males from Thai breeding lines, not the cup fish sold in general pet shops.

Because every betta is an individual, we photograph the exact fish you will receive and send the image over WhatsApp before dispatch. If you do not like the fish, we will offer alternatives or refund in full.

Keeping notes

• One male per tank. Males will fight to the death; they can be housed with peaceful community fish in 60 litres or more.
• A 20 litre tank with a gentle sponge filter and a heater is the practical minimum. Bowls without filtration are not acceptable.
• Bettas are surface breathers – never fill the tank to the rim and always leave an air gap under the lid.
• Floating plants and broad leaves give them resting spots near the surface.
