WRGB means separate white, red, green and blue diodes rather than a single white chip. The practical difference is colour rendering: reds in fish and plants look saturated rather than washed out, and you can tune the spectrum instead of accepting whatever the manufacturer fixed.

Bluetooth app control handles a 24-hour schedule with sunrise and sunset ramping, so the fish are not startled by lights snapping on. Aluminium body with an integrated heatsink, IP54 splash rated.

Setup notes

• Start at 50% intensity for 6 hours a day. Going straight to full power on a new tank is the fastest way to grow algae.
• Increase duration and intensity gradually over 6 – 8 weeks as plants establish.
• If you run this light at high intensity you will need CO2 injection to keep up, or algae will take the surplus light.
