A filled 2 ft aquarium weighs around 75 kg, and that load sits on the four corners. Wooden furniture not built for it will sag over months and stress the tank base. This is a welded steel frame in 25 mm square tube, epoxy powder coated to survive splashes and coastal humidity, rated to 150 kg.

The top rail is a continuous flat surface so the tank base is fully supported. Adjustable feet let you level it on an uneven floor, which matters for a rimless tank.
